Marc Hajj

A guitarist, a composer, and an experienced teacher of different Guitar styles (classical, acoustic, electric and jazz ). He also has many years of experience in music and audio production, recording and arranging.

He started his guitar lessons in 1989 on his own. Two years later he met the famous classical guitar teacher Joseph Ichkhanian who insisted that he attends the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. Marc was Mr. Ichkhanian’s student for three years and a member of his guitar ensemble group which performed in concerts and festivals all around Lebanon. After that he continued his guitar lessons with the virtuoso guitarist, professor Jad Hedari to become later one of his graduate students.
Marc is currently a guitar teacher at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music since 2004.

Marc also holds a Bachelor’s degree in music educaton.

In the years 2001 and 2003 Marc joined the George Gorse Center – Boulogne -Billancourt, France where he attended classes in guitar, music dictation, theory of music, harmony, counterpoint, and teaching methods courses with professors Jean Mathelin, Alfred Herzog, Anne le Forestier and others.
